You can say I've been part of the PolyJohn family my entire life. My earliest memories of PolyJohn are playing tag with my brother Gus around the shipping docks, down the office hallways, and in our Grandpa Ed's office. I also spent my summers in high school at PolyJohn, working in the maintenance group and absorbing as much as I can about how a manufacturing plant operates.
After graduating with honors from Calvin College in 2012 with a double major in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, I moved to Houston, TX to work for Siemens Energy in their Operations, Intelligence, and Safety group. I spent a brief time as a process safety consultant to the Gulf Coast refineries, and then accepted a position with the Danish catalyst manufacturing company Haldor Topsoe as technical sales and service engineer.
I've been lucky to have incredible mentors along the way who've taught me about the importance of quality, service, and customer relationships. So when my father asked me to tackle quality control and process improvement for PolyJohn, I jumped at the chance. My goal here is simple - to provide our customers with impeccable quality and top-notch service, from our family to yours.
